All types of healing takes time...the mental, the physical and the spiritual. I looked at my website today for the first time in about, well, a long time. and realized I haven't posted anything, (no drawings, no poetry...no nothing.) I was saddened because I love to spread awareness about Digestive Disorders, but I just couldn't...talk about a struggle. I finally realized that I just needed time for myself and to re-evaluate my purpose on this earth. My old site was fun (at least for me) and while it was a comforting thing to do, I soon felt overwhelmed at times...Tweeting, Editing YouTube videos (which ain't THAT easy, lol) and (TRYING) to make up fantastic and meaningful *cough cough* blog posts became really hard for me. I felt almost an obligation, which I never wanted it to be...ever. So, I stepped away. Shut down everything. Sad, but what I needed it to do. When I launched my new site, my ostomy was all I could think about and because I like to draw, I wanted to show ostomy bags in a new light...it's not just a "poop" bag but could be a fun characters, like SpongeBob, Garfield or a Princess Fairy...or even a bee. I wanted to show that a bag is not the end of the world, regardless if you have one temporarily or permanently or if you're young or old. I wanted to show that having one bag, two bags or even getting a reversal doesn't mean life stops...it means you're a survivor. i I have found peace and I'm ready to share...again...so please enjoy :) ***Doing the Scooby Doo Gang right now, but, dang, getting Daphe's hair just right is hard as heck :) Kat
